The International Scientific Conference “XXI century, new calls and modern development trends of law” will be held on December 21-22, 2021, at Baku State University (Azerbaijan) organized by the BSU Law Faculty in collaboration with the scientific and educational centers of the Law Faculty of Ankara University, the Law Faculty of Istanbul University, Tashkent State Law University, the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Lumiere University Lyon 2, the Law Faculty of Chisinau State University, the Law Faculty of Halle-Wittenberg University, the Law Faculty of Vilnius University, the Law Faculty of Kazan Federal University, Kiev Law University, the Law Faculty of Kiev National Aviation University.

The goals of the conference are to establish objectives and find innovative areas in legal sciences and practice, exchange experience with international experts, encourage young researchers to pursue scientific careers, and discuss important theoretical and practical research achievements in modern society.

Depending on the condition of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic the conference will be held in traditional (live), hybrid or online form (we will announce it closer to conference time).

This conference will offer an excellent forum for discussion and exchange of ideas for researchers and practitioners in the following topics (sections):

• Theory and history of law in modern times. Problems of constitutionalism
• International legal standards: new directions and development of the national legal system
• New trends in the development of criminal law
• Modern problems of criminal procedure and forensic science
• Human rights, intellectual property rights and information law
• Modern problems of civil law, commercial law and labor law

Requirements:

• Program committee will consider only abstracts that correspond to topics of conference, requirements and rules of preparation;
• All information must be submitted through the online submission system in Azerbaijani (or Turkish, English, Russian) language.

Abstract guidelines:

Abstract must be prepared in English.

The name of abstract must be short (not more than 12 words).

Name of abstract: Bold, with capital letters, 14-point, Calibri.

Full name of the author: Bold, 12-point, Calibri

Names of the organization, city and country: Regular, italic, 12-point, Calibri.

E-mail: Regular, italic, 12-point, Calibri.

Abstracts should be a maximum of 500 words.

Paper format: A4; File format: *doc, *docx; 12-point Calibri, single spaced.

Margins: top-2.7 cm, bottom-2.0 cm, left-2.0 cm, right-2.5 cm.

The number of the referenced literature is indicated in the text (for example, [2])

References are given at the end of the text (for example, 1. Only accepted abstracts will be published.

Articles selected and reviewed by the Program Committee will be published in “Modern Trends in Physics” conference proceedings that is included in Web of Science.

SUBMISSION FORM

As a host organization, Baku State University, recognizes the safety importance of our employees and of all conference participants. Therefor bellow listed guidelines are applied to minimize the risk of COVID-19 spread.

• In case if you have COVID-19 infection, emerging symptoms, you were in touch with COVID-19 infected, have travelled outside of Republic of Azerbaijan in the last 14 days, or feeling unhealthy, you are NOT allowed to attend this conference.
• We kindly ask you to arrive 20 minutes earlier for session for pre-screening.
• You are required to follow COVID-19 guidelines in the conference rooms and on the premises.
• You will be asked to use hand sanitizer and to pass temperature measurement control before entering the facility.
• Follow social distance rules with other conference participants.
• Maintain the distance while greeting, avoid handshake.
• It is important that medical masks to be worn on the premises. You are encouraged to bring your own mask, or you will be provided with one.
• If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the inside of your elbow, cover your mouth and nose with tissues, directed away from others.
• Do not bring unnecessary items, food and drinks into the building in order to avoid possible cross of contamination.
